About Dr. Bruce Garber, MD, FACS
Dr. Garber completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1976 at the University of Pennsylvania. He graduated summa cum laude (with highest honors), and was elected to the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa organization. He completed his medical training at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, receiving his MD degree in 1980. In 1985 he completed his Residency in Urology at The Hospitals of the University of Pennsylvania. He currently practices Urology in the Philadelphia area.
Scoring in the 98th percentile on his written examination, Dr. Garber was Certified by The American Board of Urology in 1987, and achieved Re-certification in 1996 and again in 2005. A Fellow of The American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a member of numerous medical and surgical societies, Dr. Garber strives for the highest standards of Urologic care for his patients. He is a Clinical Associate Professor at Drexel University College of Medicine, and actively trains resident physicians in Philadelphia, PA.
